DOC LOUNGE Aarhus and Gruppe 38 focus on Georgia in the spring 2020

In the spring of 2020 Doc Lounge Aarhus focus on Georgia with a spicy filmprogram full of premieres from young and established filmmakers from Georgia.

Georgia It is a multicultural region, which has much to offer, both in culture, food, and films: where Europe meets Asia, where East meets West.

In the latest year, many interesting filmmakers and films have come from the region and are making their way onto the international film festivals. Together with the Teatret Gruppe 38 and in collaboration with Embassy of Georgia to the Kingdom of Denmark and CinéDOC-Tbilisi, Doc Lounge Aarhus aims to pique people’s interest with tastes, sounds, short films, drinks, foods and documentaries that excite, educate and connect us as human beings.

At some of the events the main documentary will be a Georgian film and at other events, the main documentary will be followed by a short film from Georgia.
