SMALL MIRACLES OF LIFE
A dew-fresh, innovative performance by Paolo Nani
Paolo Nani experiments this time with a quite original stage language, fusing theatre and visual art.
In the show, the audience meets a lonesome character; a drawing-artist who seems to have shut himself forever inside small world that is made up of his studio. However, he cannot completely abstract from the surrounding reality. Noise from outside and from the house next door disturb his concentration and affect the design of his drawings.
In the process, an interaction arises between the external reality and the universe of the drawings, through which a moving life story unfolds.
Teateravisen‘Little Miracles of Life’ is like a beautiful sea. A sensitive and infinite ocean that holds the full spectrum of fluctuations. Which reaches infinitely. Which seems original in the sense honest and readable. (...) The performance draws a life course. It reveals the life of an introverted man in a gifted dramaturgical and wonderfully poetic way.
