Karan Blixen event /with
storytelling quiz and social space

A loving greeting to the world famous Danish writer Karen Blixen. The performance was rewarded Special Award of The Year at the Danish Reumert Awards 2019.

In a tiny village, far north, lives a small group of people in brown dresses and black coats. They look down mostly. And because they look down, they have nothing to talk about and nothing to long for.

But then there’s Viola…

Event information

An evening with Karen Blixen; Through a storytelling-quiz, social space and theatre, we introduce you to one of the most famous Danish writers in history. Her life was extraordinary and her work world famous. Through her stories, Karen Blixen reminded us again and again, that it’s easy to love an angel and easy to hate a devil – but it takes courage to love a human. She experienced enormous success and massive loses.  Her life was full of shadows and light, – and so is her stories.

We combine this evening with the possibility to meet other internationals and Danes and share common cultural experiences. After the performance, we offer a drink and make sure of creating a cozy atmosphere, where everybody is welcome. We look forward to se you.
