HERE, THERE AND EVERYWHERE

A visually appealing, wordless, musical performance for children and adults

HERE, THERE AND EVERYWHERE is a wonderful experience of clever, analogue ingenuity, beautiful visual effects and beautiful music. The performance philosophizes over time, nature and man’s place in the whole.

Here, children and adults can encounter a playful notion of a house that changes with the motion of winter, spring, summer and fall.

HERMIT

A funny and moving, wordless story about being completely alone and still finding the way home. For the 2-6 year olds and their adults

There is a square. Is it a house?
There is a sound.
Is there anyone inside the house?
Who’s in there?

HERMIT is a visual, wordless performance of a small house where the owner is not at home – but we can still hear him.

SIMONE DE JONG COMPANY (NL)

Simone de Jong Company in Amsterdam creates performing arts for families based on movement, music and imagination. Their productions are original, funny and sensitive.

The theatre itself describes that most of their performances are wordless, because for a small child the spoken word is only one of many forms of language. The Simone de Jong Company starts from the physical and aims to put images on the philosophical considerations of life at eye level with the children.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND – for adults

Dangerous, twisted and transformative. Join Alice on an acid trip at the bottom of the deepest rabbit hole. Nothing is as it seems in the land on the other side

Experience a different version of Lewis Carroll’s beloved classic. In all its acidic, monstrous and unheimliche essence.

In a cabinet of fantastic creatures, transformations happen before the eyes of the audience. Costumes are transformed and come to life together with dancer and performer Tilde Knudsen.

ALICE IN WONDERLAND is a performance full of wondrous absurdity.

ASTERIONS HUS

Asterions Hus is recognized for physical and experimental interpretations of grand narratives in beautiful and poetic settings.

DESTINY

They say it’s my own fault. Basically it must be, for I am Destiny. This critically acclaimed performance written and performed by Florence Espueut-Nickles opens STAND ALONE Festival 23.

Destiny dreams big. She dreams of glamour. If J-Lo can make it out of The Bronx, Destiny can make it out of Hill Rise Estate in Chippenham. She is desperate to get away from the hopelessness she grew up with.
Destiny lives in one of the dreariest housing estates in Britain. We follow her dramatic and desperate attempts to learn to love and to be loved.
The critically acclaimed performance, with actress Florence Espueut-Nickless on stage, gives insight into the lives of the millions of young people living in poverty in the UK.

The performance is part of STAND ALONE Festival 23 at Teatret Gruppe 38.
