Visiting on foot or bicycle? You can walk along the waterfront at Bassin 7 on Aarhus Oe.

Visiting us by public transport

City bus 23 stops at Nikoline Kochs Plads and from here, you can walk to the theatre (approx. 5 minutes).

City bus 17/light rail L1 stops at Østbanetorvet  (walk for approx. 12 minutes).

It is also possible to take a large number of city buses and light rail L2 to Nørreport, and several city busses to Navitas. Find your route at Rejseplanen.dk.

Parking

There are many parking options close to Teatret Gruppe 38. We advise you to choose your parking destination and finding it on a map before you visit us by car. In that way, you avoid being in doubt of directions.
See examples of parking possibilities below:

  • Karrère: Parking basement just next to the theatre.
  • AARhus: Parking close to the theatre (the building shaped like a double-A next to Teatret Gruppe 38). Parking only possible in a specific number of parking bays (please look at the signs) and requires an app for payment.
  • Thit Jensens Gade 1: Parking near the theatre. Requires an app for payment.
  • Q-Park: Nicoline house: There is a parking basement under Nicolinehus, located approx. five minutes from the theatre. From here it is easy to get to the theatre on foot in about 5 minutes.
  • Navitas – free on Sundays: Expect approx. 10-15 minutes to Teatret Gruppe 38 on foot.
  • Q-park: Havnens Perle: Please read the signs on site for information about payment. Approx. 5 minutes walk to the theatre.
  • Q Park: The Z House: Please read the signs on site for information about payment. Approx. 6 minutes walk to the theatre.
  • Special parking for disabled: There is a free parking bay for disabled in the area behind the theatre building: Follow the first road on your right after Havnebadet.
  • In addition, there are two parking spaces for disabled in the parking basement of the AARhus building. They are located on level 0 and require payment with parking apps.
